College At Calvary

While Calvary doesn't host a "formal" college ministry, we are not short on students who engage with the church community through groups and serving on a weekly basis.

Many of our students serve in ministries such as Worship Arts, Nine Twenty Two Youth, the Calvary Kids and Preschool Ministries, and even on the Security Team and other specialized teams.

While we believe community with peers and fellow students during college years is important (see below for a list of local campus ministries), we also believe becoming invested and connected to a local church prepares our students for a more enduring connection to the church as whole, and in turn lasting support in their life-long journey of faith.

NMSU christian challenge

Calvary is also a proud supporter of Christian Challenge, the Baptist Student Union ministry to the campus of New Mexico State University! Christian Challenge has reached and discipled thousands of students in its years of ministry. Through small groups, campus evangelism, challenging messages, powerful worship, life-changing mission opportunities, and a whole lot of fun, Christian Challenge is changing the world one student at a time!
