I was born in Columbus, Ohio in 1949. I met Pam in Columbus and we were married in 1969. We’ve been married for 50 exceptional years. We have two daughters, Theresa Secor who lives in Parry, Ohio. They have two sons and three grandchildren. Our younger daughter Wendi McComb lives in Grand Junction Colorado and they have a son 16 and a daughter 13. We also helped raise our niece Rainbow Brown.

While in Ohio I taught school for 10 years and then got involved in the administrative side of education and public service. While Pam was a believer during the early years of our marriage I was not. But in 1981 due to her and many others prayers I accepted Christ at West Hill Baptist Church in Wooster, Ohio.

We moved to the Cleveland area but continued to be involved and members of churches. When we were blessed to be able to move to Las Cruces we scouted for a church. Easter of 2004 we came to Calvary and knew this was the right place.

During the past 15 years we have been truly blessed to serve Christ and the body of believers at Calvary. I have the privilege of serving as an Elder since 2009. I have also had the opportunity to teach several classes, be involved with small groups, finances and prayerfully working with an exceptional group of men to call ministers, pray for direction, seek wisdom in difficult situations and continually seek God’s direction for Calvary.

My repeated prayer is Calvary will truly be a “People and Place of Grace”. We have been extended such grace that we have difficulty truly grasping what that is but Calvary can be such a place.
